My Disassembly Instructions:
If you just take off the exhaust pipe and cylinder head without also removing the cylinder you will be able to do everything except clean the exhaust valve. Remove the cover to the exhaust valve (with 2 bolts) and remove the circlip and pry out the cylindrical aluminum thingie. Then pull out the exhaust valve about 1/2". Remove the o-rings and 3 aluminum caps that are over the left and right valves and the idle gear. Pull out the idle gear completely and pull out the two valves only far enough for the gear tops to be flush with the top of the cylinder. (Spray with carb cleaner if they are gunked up and don't want to be pulled up.) Remove the retaining screw to the side of the actuator shaft and then pull out the shaft (move it in and out if it's hard to come out) and then remove the exhaust valve. Use a thin screwdriver to scrape off the carbon on all the insides and then spray clean with carb cleaner or another spray cleaner. Spray a cloth and use a finger or screwdriver to wipe inside where the left and right valves go in order to clean off burnt oil gunking it up.
