Here's the owners bike and the cylinder head: Here's the screenshots of the squish program with notes before and after he changed the head with the help of the program: He's now very pleased with how the bike revs out with full power. The previous misfires were from the excessive squish velocity dispersing the beginning flame too much and even putting it out. We can see that misfires at 10,000 RPM was from 13% too much squish velocity, so the maximum recommended still gives at least a 10% excess allowance. He stayed within that 10% with his modification. That also caused a 9% excess of squish volume but if he reduced the volume he'd of gotten too much squish velocity. So he chose a balance between the two. |
